Product Safety seminar held in Erzurum

23.05.2012 Coordinated by TOBB and hosted by the Erzurum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the seminar regarding Market Monitoring and Supervision Law #4703, Applications and Exports Supervision took place at the Erzurum Chamber of Commerce and Industry on May 8th, 2012. Attending the seminar were Erzurum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ETSO) Board Deputy Chairman Hasan Akal, Secretary General Att. Abdulkadir Ungan, ETSO Council members and private sector representatives. Speaking at the opening of the seminar, the Erzurum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ETSO) Board Deputy Chairman Hasan Akal reported that the market supervision and inspection protects human health and safety and protects the environment, thus increasing the quality of life as well as providing benefits in the economic field. Economy Ministry Product Safety and Supervision General Directorate experts provided information regarding the Law #4703, European Union Technical Legislation, CE Sign Legislation and Exports Supervision and PGD inspection regulations. TOBB Real Sector Research & Development and Execution Department will continue the seminars in Karaman in June.
