Members of the TOBB Turkey Maritime Council were briefed on arbitration by the TOBB Law Secretariat. The meeting took place at the TOBB Union Center, assessing the issues on the sector’s agenda.
During the meeting a presentation detailing how matters could be resolved via third parties instead of state courts was made on the subject of arbitration while the works of the “investment and improvement of the business environment,” “maritime goals and policies,” and “emission reduction and energy efficiency,” committees were reviewed.

Also discussed during the meeting were matters such as; prioritization and monitoring of the 2023 goals, International Maritime Organization’s seminars regarding raising ship-based emission reduction awareness, shipboard energy efficiency, emission reduction.
TOBB Turkey Maritime Council members shared its opinions on the Bill #4922 Regarding Changes to Maritime Life and Goods Protection Law.
