Air conditioning sector discusses fair competition

TOBB Turkey Air Conditioning Council convened under Council President Zeki Poyraz. Competition Council Supervision and Execution Department President Barış Ekdi briefed council members regarding competition law.
Issues caused by the BEP – TR program still prevalent
The shortcomings of the BEP –TR program designed to track energy identification for buildings were pointed out.
Council President Zeki Poyraz stated that as a result of the ministry visits, the consensus that the program does not work has been established. It was decided that similar applications in Europe would be investigated on site. Council member Gürkan Arı stated that once the international talks are completed, viable suggestions would be compiled into a report and delivered to the Ministry.
