The President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, "Turkish politics have lost and important figurehead with the passing of Aydın Menderes."
Hisarcıklıoğlu published a statement regarding the death of Aydın Menderes, who was being treated at hospital at the time of his death, saying, "We are gravely saddened by the passing of Aydın Menderes who was hospitalized for immune system treatment.
The late Aydın Menderes will always be honored for his significant role in Turkish politics. Turkish politics have lost an important figurehead.
On behalf of the Turkish business world, we share the sadness of the loss of Mr. Aydın Menderes with our great nation, pray for the grace of Allah upon the deceased and convey our condolences to his family, politics community and our nation."
