TIRExB (TIR Executive Board) Workshop meeting on Intermodal Aspects of the TIR System was held via video conference.

At the meeting, a presentation titled “Effective Use of Intermodal Transportation with TIR System” was made by TOBB, one of the main stakeholders.

At the meeting hosted by the Internal Transport Committee of the Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE/ITC), issues such as the eTIR project for electronic TIR Carnets, subcontracting in the TIR System, intermodal/multimodal pilot transports organized to date, internet platforms that connect all stakeholders and legal arrangements which would better suit today's conditions were discussed.
