In his May 1st Labor and Solidarity Day Hisarcıklıoğlu said:

"Workers and employers are an inseparable part of our work lives. Without entrepreneurs and industrialists, our laborers; without our laborer brothers we cannot accomplish anything. Therefore, if Turkey has set itself great goals, if we wish to increase our national income, if we wish for better days, it will be accomplished through unity and solidarity.

Although our goals as workers and employers may be different, when it comes to matters of country, how joyous is it that we are representatives of a people who become a single fist, love and understand each other. The closest example of this is the work put towards a new constitution by worker and employer professional organizations which represent all parts of society, working shoulder to shoulder.

Turkey has written an extraordinary story of success in the last thirty years, especially in the fields of economy and industry. We accomplished this with entrepreneurs, workers and laborers. Our chests swell with pride when we hear from world brand automobile producers' CEOs that Turkish workers produce goods with extremely low amount of errors.

The rights and labors of our workers are a matter to which we always pay great attention and respect to.

In this regard, on behalf of the Turkish business world I congratulate the May 1st Labor and Solidarity Day of our laborer brothers who contribute greatly to the future of our children with the sweat of their brow and present my salutations and respects to them.
