Ali Çandır, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), and Hasan Çağlayan Dündar, Advisor to the President of TOBB, paid a visit to the Ministry of National Education.

The delegation visited Salih Kaygusuz, who was recently appointed as Deputy Director General of Vocational and Technical Education at the Ministry of National Education from his position as Antalya Provincial Director of National Education, in his office and congratulated him on his new position. During the visit, in addition to the wishes of good luck, opinions were exchanged on the development of vocational and technical education, especially agricultural vocational high schools.

TOBB Board Member Ali Çandır drew attention to the critical role of vocational education in training the qualified workforce needed by the agricultural sector and shared his suggestions for sector-oriented education models and increasing public-private cooperation.

Strengthening the integration of education and production, programs structured according to local needs and making agricultural high schools more functional were also on the agenda.
