A coordination meeting was held in Gaziantep, one of the pilot provinces within the scope of the Deposit Management System to be implemented on a national scale, for public and private sector representatives on the field implementation, technical infrastructure and cooperation requirements of the Deposit Management System.

Environment Agency Vice President Dr. Zübeyir Dedeoğlu, Gaziantep Chamber of
Industry Chairman Adnan Ünverdi, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges
of Türkiye (TOBB) Board Member and Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce Chairman
Mehmet Tuncay Yıldırım, provincial/district Chamber and Commodity Exchange
Presidents and city dignitaries attended the meeting held at Gaziantep Chamber
of Industry.
In his speech, Adnan
Ünverdi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of GSO, stated that they find the
Zero Waste Project very important for our future and that the Deposit Site
Management System, which will be implemented by the Turkish Environment Agency
in this context, is a vital step for a sustainable environment and economy.
TOBB Board Member
Mehmet Tuncay Yıldırım in his opening speech; He emphasized the importance of
the Deposit Management System and stated that as the provincial Chamber and
Stock Exchange community, they will provide all the contribution they can for
the system to be successful.
