TOBB Turkey Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Gas Council convened under Yağız Eyüboğlu in İstanbul. During the meeting in which the LPG Sector Workshop in Bolu was assessed, the Customs Law and Bill for Amendments to Various Laws and Petroleum Market Bill were also discussed.
It was expressed by council members that the LPG Sector Workshop, with the high attendance from the EPDK, was very productive. It was stated that more workshops in the coming years with the attendances of all relevant parties would be very beneficial.
It was stressed that LPG should be promoted in areas inaccessible by natural gas.
Council President Yağız Eyüboğlu reported that a committee has relayed matters which concern the sector to the Customs and Commerce Minister, the Energy and Natural Resources Minister, Deputy Minister and Undersecretary as well as the EPDK President.
It was stated that the Liquid Fuel Market Law and the Petroleum Market Law should be prepared in tandem and the stock responsibility of the LPG sector should be limited to 10 days.
