The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) TIR Committee, under the chairmanship of Tamer Kıran, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, with the participation of TIR Committee members, convened via video conference.

At the meeting, the participation requests of the companies in the TIR System were evaluated and the incidents involving companies engaged in international transportation activities were discussed and decided.

In addition, consultations were held on the issue that the Georgian Customs Administration will make it compulsory to present customs guarantee (TIR Carnet etc.) in transit and transit transportations to Georgia as of July 1, 2025.
