The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) E-Commerce Council meeting was held in İstanbul, chaired by Council President Ozan Acar, with TOBB Board Members Selçuk Öztürk and İbrahim Burkay participating online.
The meeting was
attended by Çağatay Yasin Karaboğa, Director of the Electronic Commerce
Department at the Ministry of Trade’s General Directorate of Domestic Trade;
Hakan Cirit, Director of the Subscription and Distance Contracts Department at
the Ministry of Trade’s General Directorate of Consumer Protection and Market
Surveillance; and Bülent Yılmaz, Director of the Bandrollü Product Tracking
Systems Department at the Ministry of Treasury and Finance’s General Directorate
of the Mint and Stamp Printing House.
Following the opening
speeches at the TOBB Türkiye E-commerce Council Meeting, discussions were held
on the integration of couriers into the national vehicle identification system,
the Türkiye E-commerce Week event to be held under the auspices of the Ministry
of Trade in November, and various training sessions planned for the sector in
different provinces. E-commerce Week event to be held in November under the

supplements, regulatory assessments, and discussions on the work carried out by
the Council.
The program ended with
closing remarks after mutual evaluations.
