The 39th Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) Conference was held in Colombo, Sri Lanka on November 10-11, 2025.
Mehmet Büyüksimitci, a member
of the TOBB Board of Directors, attended the conference on behalf of the Union
of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB).
Mehmet Büyüksimitci
also participated in the 100th CACCI Board of Directors Meeting
chaired by CACCI President Peter McMullin as part of the Conference.

held a meeting with Semih Lütfü Turgut, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye
to Colombo. The meeting focused on Türkiye-Sri Lanka trade and economic
relations.
The Confederation of
Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) was founded in Taiwan in
1966 by 10 national chambers of commerce. From the Australian continent:
Australia, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand; from East Asia: Hong Kong, Japan,
South Korea, Mongolia, Taiwan, Russian Federation; Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia,
Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam from Southeast Asia;
Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka from South Asia; and
Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iran, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Türkiye from Central Asia.
Its purpose is to bring together the business communities of member countries
to contribute to the development of the Asia-Pacific region's economies.
