The TOBB Türkiye Chemical Industry Council Meeting was held in Istanbul with the participation of TOBB Board Member İbrahim Burkay and TOBB Türkiye Chemical Industry Council Chairman Timur Erk.

The meeting discussed the sector’s developments over the last three months, the current problems of the chemical industry in foreign trade, inspections carried out in the field in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation on Fire Protection of Buildings, the sector’s year-end expectations, and issues awaiting resolution in 2026.

Murat Bayram, Deputy Director General of Professional Services, who attended the meeting regarding the inspections carried out under the Regulation on Fire Protection of Buildings, answered questions from the sector.

The meeting, attended by public institutions, sector representatives, and relevant stakeholders, concluded with the exchange of mutual views and suggestions.
