The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Houseware Council Meeting and Presidential Board Election was held in İstanbul, chaired by TOBB Executive Board Vice President Ali Kopuz.

Re-elected unanimously as Council President, T. Murat Kolbaşı, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Arzum Electric Home Appliances Inc., thanked the Council members for their trust. A. Selman Yar, partner of Karınca Home Appliances Marketing Domestic and Foreign Trade Inc., was re-elected unanimously as Vice President of the Council.

The meeting was also attended online by Hakan Atay, Trade Counselor of the Republic of Türkiye in Egypt, and representatives of the Ambiente Fair and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.

During the Türkiye Housewares Council Meeting, which had a busy agenda, the opportunities ahead for the sector, sector problems, and potential solutions were discussed, and plans were made for 2026.
