“The Great Eastern Thought and The Characteristics of the Ideal Turkish Youth in the Works of Necip Fazıl Kısakürek” essay contest award ceremony was hosted by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at the TOBB Union Chamber, attended by the Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Expressing his gratitude for TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu’s support for the event and the preparation of the book, “The Light Which Descends upon the Desert,” PM Erdoğan congratulated the young people who participated in the competition as well as Mirza Şamil, who won the first place.

Prime Minister Erdoğan went on to state that it was difficult to describe Necip Fazıl in so few words and that he was a writer read by even his detractors.
