Turkey and Hungary have signed fifteen agreements between them. The signature ceremony which took place at the Prime Ministry Headquarters was attended by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban and TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.
During the meeting,
the agreement signed between TOBB and the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and
Industry in 1983 was renewed by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and the
Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Lazslo Parragh.
Prime Minister
Erdoğan and Orban signed an agreement for the establishment of a High Level
Strategic Cooperation Council. Additionally agreements facilitating the visa
procedures for the businessmen of both countries as well as 14 agreements
addressing issues such fields as environment, energy, forestry, water
management, culture, education and media.
