Speaking at the “Investment in Palestinian Economy” meeting, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu provided information in regards to the Jenin Industrial Zone which will bring much needed life to the Palestinian economy and urged the business world to invest in it.

Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Investment in Palestinian Economy meeting
held by the Quartet on the Middle East (QUARTET), Partners for a New Beginning
(PNB) and the US Chamber of Commerce in Prague.
Hosted by the former
Prime Minister of Britain, Tony Blair and the former Secretary of State of the
US, Madeleine Albright, the meeting was attended by many businessmen from the
USA and Palestine as well as the Palestinian Deputy Prime Minister Muhammet
Mustafa.
In his speech during
the opening of the meeting, M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu provided information
regarding the Jenin Industrial Zone as TOBB and invited investors to invest in
the Jenin Industrial Zone. Hisarcıklıoğlu also touched on the work conducted by
the Jerusalem Arbitration Center, the Middle East Commerce Center and the
Partners for a New Beginning (PNB).

As part of his Prague
program, Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the former Secretary of State of the US and
PNB President, Madeleine Albright the former Prime Minister of Britain and
Quartet Special Representative, Tony Blair informing them of the activities
taking place at the Jenin Industry Zone and requested their assistance. At the
end of the program, the TOBB President met with Turkey’s Ambassador to Prague
Cihat Erginay and received information regarding Turkish-Czech economic
relations, trade and investment opportunities.
