TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu congratulated Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO) and the Ankara Chamber of Industry (ASO) 2nd and 3rd Organized Industry Zones for receiving their authorization to hold exams and give certification by the Vocational Proficiency Institution following in the footsteps of the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ATSO) and ASO 1st OIZ.

2nd and 3rd OIZ Vocational Testing and Certification
Center Financial Enterprise (METES) have been authorized by the Vocational
Proficiency Institution to issue Vocational Proficiency Certificates.
TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu, said in his statement, “Our examination
and certification circle has grown with the authorization of ALTSO and the ASO
2nd and 3rd OIZs. We are still very far from our goal. We
have a long way to go. However, this community which has shown just how much it
can accomplish – with proper training and persuasion, it will soon prove its
merit. I am hopeful for the chambers. I heartily congratulate the ALTSO and the
ASO 2nd and 3rd OIZs which will provide vocational
training to its members.”
- What is a Vocational
Proficiency Certificate?”
Vocational Proficiency Certification is valid in all EU countries and
denotes authorization to teach at National Education Ministry schools of level
4 or higher by appointment.
Employers are exempt from employment premiums for a duration of 12 to 48
months. This is paid for by the Unemployment Insurance fund.
Establishments wanting obtain examination and certification
authorization from the Vocational Proficiency Institution must first obtain ISO
17024 Personnel Certification Accreditation from the Turkey Accreditation
Institution.
