In his statement regarding the 169th anniversary of the establishment of the Turkish Police Department, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the police are the protectors of the democratic order and our safety, “The respect and love we hold for our police are, in fact, the reflection of the sentiments we harbor for our government and people. The police department is the stalwart protector of this country’s democratic order.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his statement:
“The trust, love and respect for the police is one of the indispensable
values of our society. Celebrating the 169th anniversary of its
establishment, the Turkish Police Department is working selflessly to be worthy
of this love and trust.
Everyone wants to live in peace. To know that the police department
stands with them is the primary wish of any citizen. That is why the police
department is the apple our people’s eye. It has known to be the voice of the
people’s conscience.
Utilizing the authority granted to it by the law, our police is equipped
with the innovations of the age, making us very proud.
On behalf of the Turkish business world, I present my gratitude to all
of our police for their sacrifices and the services they provide. I celebrate
the anniversary of the establishment of the Turkish Police Department from the
bottom of my heart.”
