Visiting Turkey, Turkmenistan President Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov toured the Bilkent Cyberpark, one of the most advanced technoparks in Turkey, along with TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.
Turkmenistan President Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov was greeted by the
Bilkent University Board of Trustees Delegation President Ali Doğramacı at the
Bilkent Cyberpark. Receiving information on the phases of the establishment of
the Technocity, its structure and operation, Berdimuhamedov and Hisarcıklıoğlu
visited the Material Sciences and Nanotechnology Institute (UNAM).
Stating that the trade relations between the two countries has increased
in recent years, Turkmenistan President Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov stressed that
he is also focusing on meetings focused on science in Turkey as well.
Turkmenistan President Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov reported that petroleum gas,
construction and agricultural in addition to many other fields are ripe for
cooperation, “Our goal is to work together in construction and science.”
Turkmenistan President Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov stated that the
cooperation could continue with solar energy, microbiology and healthcare.
Reminding that Turkmenistan has a national development plan stretching
to 2020s-2030s, Turkmenistan President Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov stated that
they are working to develop their country’s industry. Reporting that they are
preparing to open the first technopark in Turkmenistan on the 12th
of June, Turkmenistan President Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov invited everyone to
the opening of Turkmenistan’s first technocity.
