TOBB will build the Faculty of Communications which will be situated inside the Niğde University Campus. TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The most beneficent of men are those who are beneficent to others. You may lose money in any business endeavor, but there can never be losses when you invest in education.”
The Protocol and Signature Ceremony for the TOBB Niğde University
Faculty of Communications, to be built by TOBB, was held at the Niğde Chamber
of Commerce and Industry, attended by Niğde Governor Necmeddin Kılıç, Niğde TSO
Chairman Şevket Katırcıoğlu, Niğde Commodity Exchange Chairman Zafer Uyanık,
Bor TSO Chairman Nurettin Eriç, Niğde University Rector Prof. Dr. Adnan Görür,
Niğde Municipality Director Faruk Akdoğan, TOBB Presidential Advisor and Niğde
Commodity Exchange former Chairman Erdoğan Özegen as well as many businessmen.
Speaking at the protocol ceremony, Hisarcıklıoğlu stressed the
importance of education, “Any investment made into education will always
benefit you; will benefit Niğde; will benefit Turkey. We are signing the
protocol for the faculty of communications which will be built in the Niğde
University. I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this.”
Niğde TSO Chairman Şevket Katırcıoğlu pointed out that TOBB undertakes
exemplary endeavors in the field of education as in many others and went on to
thank everyone who contributed to this investment.

named after Hisarcıklıoğlu
Niğde Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s renovated Council Meeting Hall
was named after TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. Attending the opening
of the M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu Meeting Hall were Niğde Governor Necmeddin
Kılıç, Niğde TSO Chairman Şevket Katırcıoğlu, Niğde Commodity Exchange Chairman
Zafer Uyanık, Bor TSO Chairman Nurettin Eriç, Niğde University Rector Prof. Dr.
Adnan Görür and Erdoğan Özegen among others.
Hisarcıklıoğlu, stating that although he does not prefer his name be
used in regards to the services of TOBB, thanked the Chamber administration for
wanting to give his name to the Hall.
Following the ceremony, President Hisarcıklıoğlu and the attendees took
a commemorative photo.
