Stating that the holy month of Ramadan has been a sorrowful one for the Muslim world, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “I hope that our nation enjoys many holidays in peace, with love and serenity.”

The President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said in Eid statement:

“This year, in the holy month of Ramadan, we are faced with the slaughter of our Muslim Brothers. The pain and anguish in Palestine, Syria and Iraq have made this Ramadan a sad one for the Turkish nation.

In this beautiful month of Ramadan, it is my hope that these terrible events come to an end, that we experience an Eid which will embody hope, peace, tolerance, solidarity, love and respect.

On behalf of the Turkish business world, it is my hope that Eid brings our great nation, the Muslim world and humanity -which is in need of peace now more than ever- happiness and peace.”
