Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu met with TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and the Turkey – EU Joint Arbitration Committee (JAC) delegation.
Present during the reception at the Prime Ministry Central Building were
Turkey – EU JAC Co-President and Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and
Craftsmen President Bendevi Palandöken, TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu,
Türk-İş President Ergün Atalay, Memur-Sen President Ahmet Gündoğdu, TİSK
President Yağız Eyüboğlu, Hak-İş President Mahmut Arslan and Kamu-Sen President
İsmail.
In a press release following the meeting, Palandöken stated that the
visit was a courtesy visit to Davutoğlu to congratulate him on his new
position.
Reporting that the EU membership process was discussed during the
meeting, Palandöken stated that the Prime Minister Davutoğlu is determined for
the EU process and convinced of its benefit to Turkey.
Palandöken stated that they would be meeting with the PM Davutoğlu as
the Turkey – EU JAC often to discuss the EU process and other issues.
