a part of such a beneficent endeavor. I would like to thank everyone who
contributed to it, especially the Commodity Exchange President, my brother
Adnan. No investment made into education is ever a loss. Anyone who claims to
have lost as a result of investing in education can come and talk to me. There
is but one investment without risk and that is education. I have said this
everywhere I’ve been to. The number of entrepreneurs in Turkey needs to
increase. We must increase the number of entrepreneurs if we want to prosper to
any greater extent. When we compare Turkey and Japan, proportionally with
regards to total population, Japan has three times the amount of entrepreneurs
Turkey has.”
- “Raise your daughters as
entrepreneurs”
Stating that girls are raised distanced from entrepreneurship and that
many girls who graduate from higher education institutes only raise children at
home, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu urged the mothers and fathers of Aydın,
“We’ve established woman entrepreneurs councils in 81 provinces of Turkey in
order to increase the number of woman entrepreneurs in Turkey in order to
provide our woman entrepreneurs as role models for young girls. I urge parents
to raise their daughters as entrepreneurs. That is a priority for our country.
Creating one entrepreneur means providing employment to ten people.”
- “Let’s not allow our efforts go
to waste”
