TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they view the reform plans announced by Prime Minister Davutoğlu to be very positive. Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his statement:

“As the Turkish private sector, we regard the reform plans announced by our government to be very positive. At a time when the global economy and our region is undergoing a very critical process, we are truly greatful to the Prime Minister and all the Ministers responsible for rekindling the flame of reform long awaited by the Turkish business community. We are greatly pleased to see concrete progress towards the goals set forth in the Medium Term Plan. The 9 transformation programs and clear itinerary for actions which were announced will strengthen the hand of Turkey and Turkish entrepreneurs in global competition. As the TOBB community, we stand ready to give our support for the success of the action plans announced today and those which will be announced in the coming days, for the success of the reforms.”
