TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Muş Governor Vedat Büyükersoy and Muş Municipality Director Feyat Asya at their respective offices. Also present during the visits were the chamber and exchange chairmen of the province and counties as well as the TOBB Board Member Ebubekir Bal and GTİ Inc. Council President Arif Parmaksız.
Muş Governor Vedat Büyükersoy stated during the meeting that Muş’ most
important problem is unemployment and poverty, requesting Hisarcıklıoğlu’s
assistance in drawing investments to Muş. Pointing out that TOBB is one of the
most important civil society organizations, Governor Büyükersoy stressed the
importance they put on Hisarcıklıoğlu’s visit in this regard.
TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu reported that, according to the
survey they’ve conducted in Muş, it is one of the most hopeful cities in Turkey
with regards to the future, emphasizing the significance of a positive outlook
for the economy.
After the visit to the Governor’s office, Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Muş
Municipality Director Feyat Asya at his office. Asya stated that many important
developments have occurred since Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu took office in 2002,
“This visit is very important for us because it contributes to solidarity,
unity and cooperation of which we are in sore need of.”
Thanking Asya and the residents of Muş for their hospitability, TOBB
President Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that the hope brought on by the solution
process has reflected positively on the hope for the future by the people of
Muş.
