B20 Turkey and TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, during an interview with Bloomberg TV in Davos, stated that problems on a global scale can only be solved through global initiatives. Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “This is not a decision to be made by economists or central banks - quite the contrary, it is a mechanism which must be decided by political and economist parties together.”
In Davos for the
World Economy Forum’s annual meetings, B20 Turkey and TOBB President M. Rifat
Hisarcıklıoğlu gave an interview to Bloomberg TV. Providing information in
regards to the Davos meetings, he said, “This is not the actual decision making
center, but rather one in which views are exchanged.”
Providing information
in regards to the B20 and their plans for the term, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that
global issues would find solutions in Turkey throughout Turkey’s term.
In regards to
expectations, Hisarcıklıoğlu reported that one of the most important issues was
the matter of investments: Job creation and global economic growth as well
access to finances are under discussion. The second issue brought into focus is
the matter of SMEs with the issues of unemployment, trade and over protective measures effecting it.
