In the first two months of 2015, among the statements made by unions, associations and chambers, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) found mention in 4,469 economy articles.

Approximately 2,000 national, regional and local newspapers and periodicals were reviewed during this survey showing that, in the previous two months, TOBB’s news regarding speeding up structural reforms, special efforts aimed at young and women entrepreneurs, the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors were among the top news.

The same survey shows that statements by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu found mention in 1,183 articles.

His statements regarding the need for banks to lower credit rates, the need for lowering tax burdens on employment and focusing on product development and high added value production found the widest audience.
