Representatives of 60 sectors will meet with the Prime Minister and various Ministers at TOBB. The Sector Economy Summit hosted by Hisarcıklıoğlu will present opportunity for the representatives of sectors ranging from construction to education; banking to agriculture, to relay their problems first hand to the government.
Following the 8th Commerce and Industry Summit on April 8th,
during which representatives from 81 provinces relayed their issues to the
government, sector representatives will also have the same opportunity.
The Sector Economy Summit to be attended by the Prime Minister and
various Ministers will take place at the TOBB Twin Towers on the 21st
of April. The Summit will be hosted by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.
TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated the importance of bringing
together the real actors of the economy together with PM Davtuoğlu and various
Ministers, “The results of this event, the steps which will be taken after the
Summit are very important for the freer operation of our entrepreneurs, for
increased investments from them and for more employment generated by them. We
have 60 sector councils. Each of their representatives will share the problems
their respective sectors face. There is no better way to solve the problems of
the business community than that of arbitration.”

Also attending the Sector Economy Summit will be the council members of
TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council and TOBB Youth Entrepreneurs Council.
The will relay the problems which face them in their endeavors as well
as providing proposals to address these issues. The summit is expected to last
all day.
The Sector Economy Summit is drawing attention as an important platform
for directly addressing issues, discussing and presenting solution proposals in
regards to a myriad of sectors.
