TOBB President and Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (ICCIA) Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture’s 21st Board Meeting and 31st General Assembly Meetings.
During the meetings discussions were held for increasing commerce
amongst Islamic countries, best use of human resources, creating an investment
environment aimed at better integrating Islamic countries’ economies to that of
the global economy, facilitation of attaining finances for SMEs, encouraging
youth and women entrepreneurs as well as the Islamic Chamber’s future
endeavors.
Also during the ICCIA round table meeting, Uganda gave a presentation on
the investment and cooperation opportunities to be found in Uganda.
Attending the meeting hosted by the Uganda National Chamber of Commerce
and Industry in addition to Turkey were United Arab Emirates, Djibouti, Guinea,
Iran, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, Mauritania, Niger, Oman, Pakistan, Sudan, Saudi
Arabia, Tunisia, Uganda, Cyprus and Jordan.
TOBB Board Member Selçuk Öztürk was also present during the meetings.
