Attending the Council Members Seminar held on the 24th, 25th and 26th of April, 2015, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stressed that the world is rapidly changing, “We must all learn perpetually from the cradle to the grave because life goes by so fast and the world is continually changing.”

In his address to the Council Members attending the Seminar, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The most beneficent of men is he who is beneficent unto others. The offices you now hold are the best position to act out these words.” Stating that these positions are ones of self-sacrifice, Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that they have an opportunity to be beneficent unto others.

Emphasizing importance unity and solidarity, M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “TOBB’s success belongs to us all.  It belongs to our unity and solidarity. Stressing the need to think differently but acting in unison with common cause, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that economic power is the most significant power to wield, “No matter how much political or military power you hold, economic power is paramount.”
