TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu congratulated İsmet Yılmaz on his election as Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey (TBMM).

Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed his belief that Yılmaz will fulfill his duties admirably as the Speaker of the highest representation of the will of the people, saying, “Democracy is the best, most ideal regime.

On behalf of the Turkish business community, I congratulate Mr. İsmet Yılmaz who was elected Speaker by the representatives elected by the people.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “TBMM has elected its new Speaker. As per the will of the people and the necessities of democracy, a healthy election has taken place.

Wishing him a successful term, I am fully confident that Mr. Yılmaz will perform his duties to the fullest.”
