In a press release regarding terror attack which took place in Ankara, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they vehemently condemn all acts of terror which target peace and solidarity and aim to harm innocents.

Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his message:

“On behalf of the Turkish business community I vehemently condemn the act of terror which claimed the lives of many of our citizens as well wounding many others.

Terror attacks target the unity, solidarity and peace of our country. As a nation, we must preserve our common sense and act sensibly in the face of these attacks.

Violence solves no problems. Those who hope to extract a solution or future from violence have left all humane feelings behind. The perpetrators of these despicable attacks should know that acts of terror and violence cannot serve as viable tools in attaining their goals.

We believe wholeheartedly that our government will bring the perpetrators of these attacks to justice in the shortest time possible.

On behalf of the Turkish business community I extend our condolences to the families and loved ones of those who perished during these heinous attacks as well as our whole nation.”
