TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and TOBB Board of Directors attended the Republic Day reception hosted by the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
A video celebrating the 92nd anniversary of the founding of
the Republic of Turkey was shown prior to President Erdoğan’s speech at the
Presidential Complex in Beştepe. The presentation contained footage from the
archives of the Secretariat of Staff of the Armed Forces, including footage of
Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s address in the First Parliament.
It was stated that Turkey, despite the tumultuous road it has traveled,
has become a strong and robust sycamore. Starting his speech with, “Welcome to
the Presidential Complex , the house of the people,” President Erdoğan said,
“Our nation has never turned its back on the fight to render the people’s will
sovereign on the path to democracy.”
