In his message commemorating the 77th anniversary of the passing of Veteran Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “His goals, his fight and trust in the people have always guided us. As the Turkish business community, we’ve sworn to produce more and create jobs; to be worthy of the lives of the martyrs who gave it to us.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his message:

“The Republic of Turkey is a country of people who never lose their faith or resolve. It is the country of hearts, the unity and solidarity of which can never be compromised. Atatürk’s fight to this end and his thinking has won the admiration of the whole world. We as a community give our word that his trust in his country’s entrepreneurs will not have been in vain. As the Turkish private sector, we’ve renewed our resolve to grow our country’s economy and bow to his hallowed memory.

The leader of our country in its fight for independence and freedom - with a determination and resolve seldom seen in history - the Veteran Mustafa Kemal Atatürk will live on in our hearts.”
