TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the dinner hosted by Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu at the Çankaya Palace.

Speaking at the dinner attended by the representatives of the business world, PM Davutoğlu said, “If we do not reform our economy and policy, spreading it to all parts of society, macroeconomic balances may fail to bring us permanent and sustainable development.”

Davutoğlu went on, “It is one thing for an economy to be reactive in order to protect itself, another for it to be proactive to show its growth capacity. We are undergoing a time when those unable to grow not only stagnate, they also devolve. We are faced with the necessity of adopting precautions to rapidly increase the capacity of our economy. I am of the opinion that we are all in agreement in regards to the political perspective necessary for competing globally in the future.”
