TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with TOBB General Assembly Commission and Councils. Stating that TOBB has become a model institution, Hisarcıklıoğlu gave his assessment regarding items on the business community’s agenda.

Stating that the Legion d’Honneur awarded by France and the appointment as Eurochambres Permanent Deputy President is a result of unity and solidarity, Hisarcıklıoğlu went on to speak about the B20 Antalya Summit and expressed his pleasure in the fact that 14 of the 19 proposals of the B20 have been included directly or indirectly in the G20 Declaration.

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they are very happy with the reception of business community’s proposals by the state but that they would be following up on the implementation of these proposals.

Stressing the need for reorganization of the vocational education, Hisarcıklıoğlu reported that the role of the private sector in this field would grow.

Hisarcıklıoğlu thanked the chamber and exchange presidents for their announcements promoting QR coded cheques and emphasized the need to spread its use. He went on to speak on the matters of domestic producer certificates, vocational proficiency certification and the establishment of MEYBEM.
