In his message regarding the December 3rd United Nations' International Day of Persons with Disabilities, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that a society which doesn’t show consideration with its persons with disabilities cannot be considered civilized, “The greatest disability in society is the lack of reciprocal love.”
Stating that everyone must remain mindful of not exacerbating conditions
for persons with disabilities, Hisarcıklıoğlu said:
“It is our shared duty to inform our citizens with disabilities and seek
solutions for their problems with tolerance and patience.
Because we, the Turkish business community, believe in the importance of
their dynamism and their efforts to bring their plans to fruition; we support
them fully.
It is with these thoughts that I give a heartfelt salute to our brothers
and sisters with disabilities on this December 3rd United Nations'
International Day of Persons, and urge everyone to look to themselves in
regards to their sensitivity in this matter.”
