TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the third day of the 22nd Türk-İş General Assembly which hosted Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu. Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu stated that they would take Turkey even further ahead.
Stating that they’ve taken Turkey very far in 13 years, Davutoğlu said
that despite the difficulties they are facing, their goals remain grand. He
stated that issues such as severance pay would be consulted with all interested
parties.
Reporting that there has been an increase of 7 million in employment;
that business legislation in compliance with that of the EU has been
implemented; May 1st has become an official holiday; in addition to
these and many other improvements to business life, the minimum wage will be
increased to 1,300 TRY, Davutoğlu stated that they’re also working on matters
such as subcontractor employee rights, work health and general health
insurance.
