The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Çanakkale Governor Hamza Erkal. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they are visiting for two propitious deeds.
Reporting that they will be laying the foundations for the TOBB Social
Sciences High School followed by presenting awards to the tax payers who paid
the highest amount of taxes in 2015, Hisarcıklıoğlu stressed the importance of
Çanakkale for the country and the business community, “That is why we are so
happy to be visiting Çanakkale.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out the importance of former AK Party Çanakkale
MP Mehmet Daniş being appointed as Food, Agriculture and Livestock Deputy
Minister for the city, “He is deeply familiar with the sector; this is an
importance opportunity for the private sector.”

Çanakkale governor Hamza Erkan expressed his great pleasure in hosting
both the Deputy Governor and the TOBB President and stated that such attention
and consideration for the province is an honor. Governor Erkal said, “It is my
hope that we will be an integral part of public sector and industry
cooperation.”
Following the speeches, Deputy Minister Daniş and Hisarcıklıoğlu signed
the governorship ledger.
Afterwards Governor Erkal and TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu exchanged
gifts.
Also present at the visit were AK Party Çanakkale PM Ayhan Gider,
Çanakkale Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ÇTSO) Chair Bülend Engin and
Çanakkale Commodity Exchange Kaya Üzen.
