The President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received the representatives of the member institutions of Turkey – EU Joint Consultative Committee, including TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.

The meeting took place, closed to the press, at the Presidential Complex, lasting approximately 45 minutes.

Attending the reception were, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, The Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK) Chair Bendevi Palandöken, HAK-İş General Director Mahmut Arslan, Memur-Sen General Director Ali Yalçın, Turkey Kamu-Sen General Director İsmail Koncuk, Türk-İş Chair Ergün Atalay, Turkish Confederation of Employer Associations (TİSK) Chair Yağız Eyüboğlu and Union of Chambers of Agriculture of Turkey (TZOB) Secretary General Hikmet Yavuz Yiğit.

Speaking briefly with members of the press following the reception, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that, as the members of EU JCC, they’ve briefed President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in regards to their 2016 plans and the preparations they will undertake as well as taking President Erdoğan’s views on the matter into consideration.
