TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Coordination Council for the Improvement of Investment Environment (YOIKK) meeting.
Presided over by the Prime Minister Deputy Lütfi Elvan, the meeting was
attended by Prime Minister Deputy Mehmet Şimşek, Economy Minister Mustafa
Elitaş, Science, Industry and Technology Minister Fikri Işık, Environment and
Urbanism Minister Fatma Güldemet Sarı and NGO representatives.
Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Elvan stated that the Coordination
Council for the Improvement of Investment Environment has been a platform for
coordinating the formation of an investor friendly environment for the last 14
years.
Stating that YOIKK has been raised to ministerial level, Lütfi Elvan
stated that taking roles in the Council are Prime Minister Deputies, Minister
of Justice, Science, Industry and Technology Minister, Labor and Social
Security Minister, Environment and Urbanism Minister, Economy Minister, Energy
and Natural Resources Minister, Customs and Commerce Minister, Development
Minister and the Minister of the Exchequer.
