Turkey-EU High Level Economy Dialogue Private Sector Business Supper was hosted by TOBB President and EUROCHAMBRES Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at the İstanbul Hilton.

Attending the meeting in addition to Hisarcıklıoğlu were Prime Minister Deputy Mehmet Şimşek, Economy Minister Mustafa Elitaş, Customs and Commerce Minister Bülent Tüfenkci, EU Minister Volkan Bozkır, EU Turkey Delegation Chair Hansjörg Haber, European Commission Vice Chair Jyrki Katainen, European Commission Member for European Neighborhood Policy & Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn, European Commission Member for Environment, Maritime Affairs and Fishing Karmenu Vella, European Commission Member for Research and Innovation Wolfgang Burtscher, EUROCHAMBRES  CEO Arnaldo Abruzzini, BUSINESSEUROPE CEO Markus J.Beyrer, BUSINESSEUROPE International Relations Director Luisa Santos, EU private sector representatives, civil society organizations’ representatives, chamber/exchange and sector council representatives.

During his opening speech at the business supper, TOBB President and EUROCHAMBRES Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized the need for true integration for joining the EU and stated that the business world is a main factor in economic integration.

Providing information regarding the history of relations with the EU, Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed need for more dialogue and work forces.
