TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his speech at the opening of the new service building of the Sorgun Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Sorgun Chamber of Agriculture, emphasized that there is prosperity unity and solidarity; anguish in dissent, “Sorgun is Yozgat’s largest county. Allah has given you everything. Gold springs from the earth.”

Extending his condolences for the members of the armed forces and law enforcement departments who have lost their lives in the fight against terror, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that his belief is that Allah would repay the sacrifice of martyrs, “I would like to state once again that as the Turkish business community, we are wholly in support of our government in the fight against terror.”

Stating that he knows Minister of Justice Bekir Bozdağ closely, Hisarcıklığlu said, “He moves with regards to our beliefs, Turkish ethics and traditions. He conducts all business through consultation. I would like to thank him on behalf of the Turkish business community. He is addressing the issues of the judiciary system as well as the issues affecting Yozgat. I would like to thank him on behalf of the Turkish business community for his efforts.”

Stating that the new service building to be opened is one which embodies the partnership culture shared by the Sorgun Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Sorgun Chamber of Agriculture, Hisarcıklıoğlu said , “This is the clearest indication of vision and love of service. These offices offer no riches, quite the opposite. You sacrifice so much of yourself, families and friends. This is because we believe that the most beneficent of people are those beneficent unto others. The Chamber of Commerce is working to serve its members, to benefit its city and country. I would like to congratulate the Sorgun TSO Chair, administration, council and Sorgun Chamber of Agriculture for their visionary approach.”

TOBB President underlined the tangible unity and solidarity in Sorgun. “Sorgun is Yozgat’s largest county. Allah has given you everything. Gold springs from the earth. Lignite and manganese are very important. Uranium will also be mined here. There is an abundance of thermal water sources. This is great prosperity. The first 5-star hotel has been built and there are no vacancies. If you were to build 5 more they would be filled up as well. There are great opportunities for healthcare tourism. The region is a breadbasket. There is sugarcane and a sugar factory. There is mineral wealth as well as a great transportation sector. All Sorgun needs is more entrepreneurs. We must support women and youth to this end.

Following the speeches, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu and Minister Bozdağ cut the ribbon and opened the new service building of the Sorgun TSO.
