In his Eid al-Fitr message, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that holidays are an opportunity for love, respect, peace and solidarity; an opportunity for elevating these noble qualities which define human.

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his message:

“Eid al-Fitr, following the holy month of Ramadan, is a time when joy is multiplied while conflicts are settled. What’s best is living without fighting and wars, in peace and understanding through mutual respect.

That is why we need holidays in which our feelings of piety and patriotism come to the fore and traditions are observed are now more than ever needed to ensure that our identity as a nation is strengthened.

On behalf of the Turkish business community, I hope that Eid al-Fitr brings joy and peace to our nation, the Muslim community and all humanity.”
