TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the meeting held by Development Minister Lütfi Elvan with Turkish and Romanian businesspeople in Bucharest, Romania.
Addressing the
businesspeople, Minister Elvan touched on the importance of economic relations
between Turkey and Romania, reporting that Romania is the Balkan country which
draws in the most Turkish investments.
Pointing out that the
trade potential between the two countries is immense, Elvan stated that steps
to improve bilateral trade volume would be taken, “We want Romanian companies
to invest in Turkey. We are ready to provide all necessary support to this end.
Turkey maintains its attraction to investors.”
After the meeting,
TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Bucharest Turkish Memorial Cemetery
with Minister Elvan.
