TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu issued a statement regarding the attack on the convoy escorting CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu in Artvin by terrorists.

Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Terror attacks aimed at our unity and solidarity have targeted the main opposition party leader Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu’s convoy and the security forces accompanying him.

On behalf of the Turkish business community, I vehemently condemn this heinous attack which resulted in the martyring of one and the wounding of two soldiers.

I extend my condolences to CHP Chair Kılıçdaroğlu, the CHP community and our great nation; I pray for the grace of Allah upon our martyr and hope for speedy recoveries for the wounded.”
