TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu has been re-elected as Vice Chairman of the Confederation of Asia Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI), an office which he has been holding for two years, in Taiwan. Hisarcıklıoğlu said that TOBB strives to represent the business world at the highest level all over the world. CACCI Chair Jemal Inaishvili also continues to hold the CACCI Presidency office.

Elections are held every two years at CACCI where TOBB has been a member since 2009; TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu has been serving as CACCI Vice President since 2014.

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said in a statement he made after the election: “This success is the success of the Turkish business community. We are proud to wave the flag of our country in the International Chamber of Commerce, in Europe, in America, in the countries of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation and in the Asia-Pacific region. I would like to thank everybody who gave support. TOBB strives to represent the business world at the highest level all over the world.”
