Speaking at the award ceremony jointly organized by Bandırma Chamber of Commerce and Bandırma Commodity Exchange, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that he carries the morale and high energy from this region to everywhere he goes in Anatolia and praised the unity and solidarity of the city.

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the ceremony held at the Bandırma Eken Prestij Hotel, where businessmen who paid the most taxes and had the most success were awarded. Hisarcıklıoğlu congratulated the award recipients, saying, “You contribute to the development, enrichment and employment of this country. The power and prosperity of Bandirma comes from the unity and solidarity. Grace and prosperity in unity; anguish in dissent. Let's not forget this.”

Stating that Bandırma and Balıkesir are the luckiest regions of Turkey, Hisarcıklıoğlu explained that Bandırma deserved to be a province. TOBB President shared that Bandırma is ranked 23rd among the most developed provinces and counties, “We have a university in 4 counties. One of them is Banda. This is something to be proud of.” Hisarcıklıoğlu also noted that Banvit, which won the Turkish Cup in basketball, also made significant contributions to the city's name.

Hisarcıklıoğlu also thanked the two presidents of the Bandırma Chamber of Commerce and Commodity Exchange for representing the merchants of the city in the best way possible. Reporting that the Bandırma Chamber and Stock Exchange have acquired 5-stars by becoming accredited, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that both the Chamber and the Exchange have undertaken very important endeavors.
