TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said at the award ceremony held by the Gebze Chamber of Commerce, “This is the moment that makes me the proudest. What makes me proudest of this community, is that it provides a place for such ceremonies. Business life is already difficult. However, you both survive and succeed. This is not something everyone can do. So, everybody should know the value of our companies here that will receive the awards they deserve so much.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu
emphasized that now entrepreneurs are the source of the power of countries and
cities, “If the entrepreneur is strong, the nation will be strong and the city
will be strong. So, in the first place, our public administration, this community,
must embrace these people. Because these people are Gebze's pride. Gebze
business world’s pride. On such a day, I would like to thank you for giving me
the opportunity to be among you and for inviting me.”

very accurate job in 2 aspects. First, ingenuity is subject to compliment. We
will appreciate our successful entrepreneurs, our institutions, and encourage
them to do better. So we will be able to create more entrepreneurs. Because we
do not have oil and gas; the treasures of our land are not below the soil but
on the surface. Entrepreneurship is the source of Turkey's prosperity. Direct your

to compete with provincial chambers with its quality. It is an accredited
chamber. That documents its service at the international level, providing a
quality of service on par with those found in Paris, Berlin or London.
During
and after the treacherous coup attempt of July 15th, the chamber has
shown its attitude regarding democracy in line with the will of the nation. It
was one of the 7 Chambers who gave the most support to the charity campaign
that Mr. President launched for our martyrs and veterans, leaving 74 provinces behind.
Similarly,
Erciş earthquake, Soma mining catastrophe, Hopa flood disaster, they immediately
rushed to help. They offer entrepreneurship training. Thanks to that, up to 633
people have started their own business. They have cooperated with Gebze
Technical University and they give scholarships to successful students. They
are an E-test center; they are beginning license exams. They have set up five
"112" emergency service centers. In Dilovası, they are opening public
education and community health centers; private high school in Gebze OIZ;

leading national software company Logo software. They are bringing the
informatics profession to Gebze. They have received funding for a great project
from the World Bank again. Technoparks and companies will raise qualified personnel
for R & D departments.”
“What else should the Gebze Chamber of
Commerce do?" Hisarcıklıoğlu said, "Wherever there is trouble, if
there is a need, Gebze Chamber of Commerce given of itself. Gebze has provided
added value to you, has produced services for every issue for you. Having such
an active chamber is another fortune Gebze.”

and a myriad of other terrorist organizations are attacking. us We have also
experienced a treacherous coup attempt. If another country experienced these,
be sure, they would collapse. But we stand tall. 7 nations are not enough; not
even 70 could destroy us together. As long as we maintain our unity.”
- Customs and Trade Minister
Tüfenkci
Customs
and Trade Minister Bülent Tüfenkci explained that Gebze is one of the most important
centers of the country's economy with its production, employment and export
capacity despite being only a county.
Bearing
in mind that the economy is sometimes viewed only in numbers, but beyond the
figures, many other criteria must be taken into account; and that the most
important of these are the human capital, entrepreneurial spirit and the
organizations behind this spirit, Tüfenkci said that Turkey's economic success
is primarily the real sector's success. He stated that they put their trust as
the government in the Turkish entrepreneurs, industrialists and businessmen as
they set their 2023 targets.
Tüfenkci,
pointing out that the chambers of industry and commerce represent 1.5 million
business people today, “We therefore certainly place great importance on the
views that come from these chambers as the government, not just the Customs and
Trade Ministry, but every ministry are standing ready to solve the issues and
problems of the business world.”
